Blesener~ intr•oduced the following r•esolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTIOPJ PJO. 88-6-257 - AUTHORIZING THE <br />MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO SIGN A CONTRACT WITH <br />THE COUNTY FOR RECYCLING CONTAINERS TO BE <br />PROVIDED TO THE CITY BY THE COUNTY <br />The foregoing r•esolution was duly seconded by Mr~. Fahey. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener•, Fahey, Collova, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declar•ed adopted. <br />This r•esolution appear•s in Resolution Book No. 19, Page 262. <br />Blesener• r•epor•ted that the Solid Waste Committee will be holding either• <br />one or two public hearings to receive input from citizens regarding <br />the subject of tr•ash hauling within the City. <br />Council discussed the matter• and felt that ther~e was adequate r•oom in <br />the Council Chamber~s to hold one public hear•ing for• the entir•e City. <br />Mr•. Blesener• intr•oduced the following r~esolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 88-6-258 - AUTHORIZING THE <br />SOLID WASTE COMMITTEE TO HOLD A PUBLIC <br />HEARING ON JULY 19, 1988 AT 7:30 P.M. TO <br />RECEIVE INPUT fROM THE GENERAL PUBLIC ON <br />RECYCLING AND GARBAGE FIAULING <br />The for•egoing r•esolution was duly seconded by Mr. Collova. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener•, Collova, Fahey, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declar•ed adopted. <br />This r•esolution appear•s in Resolution Book No. 19, Page 263. <br />After~-Hour•s Blesener~ reported that a Public 4Jor•ks employee has expr~essed concer•n with <br />Calls after~-hour~s calls and the amount of r•eimbur•sement r•eceived for~ these <br /> calls. Blesener suggested that a mi nimum amount of time be set for• <br />Agenda r~eimbur•sement for• after~-hour•s calls.
