MINUTES City Council June 22, 1988 HUB Hobby Fahey asked if Bruce was agreeable to the 9 A.M. to 9 P.M. hour~s of Center operation. CUP (Cont.) Br•uce r•eplied that he was. Eagan pointed out that an existing hedge is being tor•n out near• Viking Dr•ive which he believed would open up an existing dr~iveway and cr~eate more tr~espassing pr•oblems. The Mayor• suggested that the City Engineer• look into Mr•. Eagan's concer~ns for• tr•espassing as well as drainage fr•om other• sites, but that these issues wer•e a separ~ate matter fr•om the one befor•e the Council this evening. Ther~e was no one else pr•esent wishing to comment on the NUB r•equest for• CUP. Mr•. Fahey intr~oduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 88-6-246 - CLOSING THE PUBLIC HEARING ON THE REQUEST FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR HUB HOBBY CENTER FOR SP1ALL CAR RACE TRACK The for•egoing r•esolution was duly seconded by Mr•. Blesener~. Ayes (4) Fahey, Blesener~, Scalze, Collova. Nays (Q). Resolution declar•ed adopted. This r•esolution appear•s in Resolution Book No. 19, Page 250. Mr~. Blesener• intr~oduced the following r•esolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 88-6-247 - APPROVING THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT REQUESTED BY FIUB NOBBY CENTER FOR SMALL CAR RACE TRACK CONDITIONED UPON SUBMISSION OF A LANDSCAPE/SCREENING PLAN BEING SUBMITTED AND SATISFACTORY REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF DRAINAGE BY THE CITY ENGINEER AS WELL AS WITH THE CONDITION THAT ONLY ELECTRIC CARS BE USED 0~1 THE TRACK AND SUBJECT TO TNE BUILDING INSPECTOR PROVIDING THE COUNCIL WITH A$ATISFACTORY SAFETY REPORT AFTER HI5 REVIEW The for•egoing r•esolution was duly seconded by Mr~.
