MINUTES <br />City Council <br />Sept. 14, 1988 <br />Round that the landscaping plan he obtained from the City shows that the plan <br />Lake Trail is preliminary. <br />Townhouses <br />(Cont.) Blesener replied that the landscaping will be very similar to what is <br />shown on the plan. Fahey agreed, pointing out that the Code specifies <br />landscaping guidelines, which must be complied with. <br />Fahey reported that the City will again restrict occupany per•mits, and <br />when City staff feels that the work has been completed, the City will <br />then issue permits to Schrier. <br />The residents asked if they could have input into the matter. <br />Fahey pointed out that the Council must rely on its staff, and when it is <br />their opinion that the work has been completed, the occupancy permits will <br />be issued. <br />The City C1er•k pointed out that Mr. Schrier is required to submit a landscape <br />bond to the City, and if landscaping is not completed in a satisfactory <br />manner, the City can collect the bond and complete the work. <br />Fahey suggested that the City Clerk inform Schrier of Council action this <br />evening and that he be informed to submit the landscaping bond. <br />Mr. Fahey intr~oduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 88-9-387 - REINSTATING THE <br />COUNCIL S PREVIOUS ACTION WITHHOLDING TNE <br />ISSUANCE OF ANY FURTHER OCCUPANCY PERMTTS <br />UNTIL SUCH TIME AS LANDSCAPING OF THE ROUND <br />LAKE TRAIL TOWNHOUSES IS COMPLETED TO THE <br />SATISFACTION OF THE BUILDING INSPECTOR AND <br />UNTIL PARKING LOT STRIPING AND REPAIRS ARE <br />COMPLETED CONSISTENT WITH THE REQUIREMENT OF THE <br />DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT FOR THIS PROJECT AND UNTIL <br />THE CITY IS IN RECEIPT OF A LETTER FROM THE DNR <br />STATING THAT THE RETAINING WALL WITHIN THE <br />DEVELOPMENT MEETS THEIR STANDARDS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, Collova, LaValle, Blesener. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 20, Page 400. <br />Palmen Mr•. Ron Palmen appeared before the Council r•equesting a fill and grading <br />Land Fill permit for• his property on East Viking Drive.
