MINUTES City Council September• 28, 1988 Conley Auto Fahey reported that the Planning Commission has recommended approval of Sales & Car the CUP. Repair (Cont.) Scalze asked if the City's used car sales ordinance prohibited used car sales operations within a certain number of feet of each other. The City Planner reported that that provision of the ordinance applies to the r•etail sales of car•s, and Mr. Conley would be operating a wholesale business. Fahey asked Conley if he was willing to comply with the recommendations of the Building Inspector. Conley reported that he has informed the building owner about the Building Inspector's recommendations, and he has indicated that he would comply. There was no one else present wishing to comment on this matter. Mr. Blesener intr•oduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 88-9-405 - CLOSING THE PUBLIC HEARING ON THE WILLIAM CONLEY REQUEST FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR AUTO SALES AND CAR REPAIR The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr•s. Scalze. Ayes (5) Blesener, Scalze, Fahey, LaValle, Collova. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 20, Page 419. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 88-9-406 - APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR WILLIAM CONLEY FOR AUTO SALES AND CAR REPAIR AT 190/192 RYAN LANE CONTINGENT UPON COMPLIANCE WITN THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE BUILDING INSPECTOR AS CONTAINED IN HIS MEMO DATED SEPTEMBER 8, 1988 AND DECLARING THAT NO BUSINESS LICENSE WILL BE ISSUED UNTIL THESE RECOMMENDATIONS ARE COMPLIED WITH The foregoing r•esolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze.
