MINUTES <br />City Council <br />September• 28, 1988 <br />Conley Auto Fahey reported that the Planning Commission has recommended approval of <br />Sales & Car the CUP. <br />Repair <br />(Cont.) Scalze asked if the City's used car sales ordinance prohibited used <br />car sales operations within a certain number of feet of each other. <br />The City Planner reported that that provision of the ordinance applies <br />to the r•etail sales of car•s, and Mr. Conley would be operating a wholesale <br />business. <br />Fahey asked Conley if he was willing to comply with the recommendations of <br />the Building Inspector. <br />Conley reported that he has informed the building owner about the Building <br />Inspector's recommendations, and he has indicated that he would comply. <br />There was no one else present wishing to comment on this matter. <br />Mr. Blesener intr•oduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 88-9-405 - CLOSING THE PUBLIC <br />HEARING ON THE WILLIAM CONLEY REQUEST FOR <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR AUTO SALES AND CAR REPAIR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr•s. Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Scalze, Fahey, LaValle, Collova. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 20, Page 419. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 88-9-406 - APPROVING A CONDITIONAL <br />USE PERMIT FOR WILLIAM CONLEY FOR AUTO SALES AND <br />CAR REPAIR AT 190/192 RYAN LANE CONTINGENT UPON <br />COMPLIANCE WITN THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE BUILDING <br />INSPECTOR AS CONTAINED IN HIS MEMO DATED SEPTEMBER <br />8, 1988 AND DECLARING THAT NO BUSINESS LICENSE WILL <br />BE ISSUED UNTIL THESE RECOMMENDATIONS ARE COMPLIED <br />WITH <br />The foregoing r•esolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Scalze, Fahey, Collova, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declar•ed adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 20, Page 420. <br />Page -8- <br />
