MINUTES City Council October 12, 1988 1989 Budget Mr. Collova introduced the following r~esolution and moved its adoption: (Cont.) RESOLUTION N0. 88-10-431 - RECONSIDERING THE 1989 SALARY INCREASE FOR THE BUILDING INSPECTOR The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr•s. Scalze. Ayes (5) Collova, Scalze, LaValle, Fahey, Blesener. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 20, Page 446. Collova and Fahey commented that they still felt the Building Inspector~ should receive a 6% increase for 1989. Scalze r~eplied that her position was that if some employees ar•e being considered individually, all should be. Blesener• pointed out that some of the office staff r~eceived comparable worth adjustments in addition to 4% incr~eases. Mr•. Collova introduced the following r~esolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 88-10-432 - APPROVING A 6% SALARY INCREASE FOR TNE BUILDING INSPECTOR FOR THE YEAR 1989 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. Ayes (3) Collova, Fahey, Blesener. Nays (2) Scalze, LaValle. Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 20, Page 447. Mr. Fahey introduced the following r•esolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 88-10-433 - APPROVING THE 1989 GENERAL FUND BUDGET, BOND LEVY, 1989 EXPENDITURE BUDGET AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGET AS PRESENTED BY THE CITY CLERK AND AS AMENDED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AT ITS BUDGET WORKSHOP MEETING WITH THOSE BUDGETS TO REFLECT THE WAGES FOR CITY EMPLOYEES WHICH HAVE BEEN APPROVED AND REVISED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR 1989 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Blesener.
