Blesener introduced the following r•esolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 88-10-439 - APPROVING THE <br />INCREASE IN DUMPSTER CHARGES AS RECOMMENDED <br />BY THE PUBLIC VJORKS SUPERINTENDENT WITH THE <br />CHARGE FOR 30-GALLON TRASN BAGS TO BE $3 PER <br />BAG, $12 PER APPLIANCE, $24 PER FULL TRAILER <br />LOAD, AND $12 PER CUBIC YARD OF TRASH <br />The for•egoing resolution was duly seconded by P1r•s. Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, Scalze, Collova, LaValle. <br />Nays (1) Fahey. <br />Resolution declar•ed adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution book No. 20, page 454. <br />Pick-Up Blesener r~eported that the City r•ecentl,y took bids on the purchase of a <br />Truck Bid pick-up truck. The bid of PAerit Chev was a.war~ded, however, it has nov~ <br />been determined that Mer•it's bid did not meet specifications. Ther•efore, <br />Agenda it is the recommendation of the Public Wor•ks Department that the bid of <br />Aadition Polar Chev be awarded. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 88-10-440 - RESCINDING THE <br />COUNCIL S PREVIOUS MOTION AWARDING THE BID <br />OF MERIT CHEV FOR A PICK-UP TRUCK SINCE <br />THAT BID DID NOT MEET SPECIFICATIONS, AND <br />AWARDING TNE BID OF POLAR CHEV IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $12,883 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr•. Collova. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener•, Collova, LaValle, Fahey, Scalze. <br />~lays (0). <br />Resolution declar•ed adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 20, page 455. <br />3176 Spr•uce Blesener• again commented on the car painting going on at 3176 Spruce <br />Street Street. Blesener pointed out that the City recently granted an auto <br />repair• license at this location, however~, car painting was not a <br />Agenda permitted use since there is no paint booth in the building. <br />Addition <br />Fahey suggested that the Sher•iff's Department be requested to issue <br />a citation to the business owner~. <br />Page -21- <br />
