There may be
Cable TV franchise fees available to pay for this improvement.
Br•uce also suggested that the Council consider taping the meetings on
cassette tapes rather than r•eel-to-reel tapes.
LaValle suggested that, if possible, a local business be given the
opportunity to bid on the improvement.
The City Cler~k estimated that ther•e would be Cable TV funds available to
pay for the improvement.
Blesener reported that at the last budget meeting of the Cable Commission,
the budget request was increased, and he will be presenting this additional
request to the City sometime in the near future.
Fahey suggested that Bruce pursue the sound system improvement and obtain
quotations and prepare a recommendation for the Council's consideration.
Scalze suggested that the Council be given an idea of how much money
it will have to spend.
Planning Collova suggested that letters of appreciation be sent to Jon Pope and
Commission Tom Perlinger• for their• service on the Planning Commission.
Resignations
Agenda
,4ddition
Page -25-
