Mr. Blesener introduceA the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTIOn) N0. 88-10-464 - AUTNORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER AND PUBLIC WORKS SUPFRINTENDENT TO LOOK AT THE CONDITI0~1 OF RYAN DRIVE TO DETERMINE IF IT IS FEASIRLE TO MAKE SOME TEMPORARY IMPROVEMENTS TO THE ROAD PENDING THE OUTCOME OF THE OVERLAY IMPRO~EMENT The foreqoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr•. Yaggy The Council reviewed the recommendation of the Economic Development Colby Committee that the fir~m of Yagg;y Colb,y Associates be hired to do a Marketing marketing stud,y of the Country Drive area. Study Fahey stated that he was concer•ned with the suggestion for~ studying Agenda some areas along Rice Street as well. Fahey pointed out that this Item No. l0a had not been r•ecommended b,y the Economic Development Committee. Scalze agreed, but pointed out that the Committee did discuss it. Scalze stated that she would be inter•ested. in the cost of the Rice Str•eet study. Fahey suggested that the City wait and see if ther•e is any interest by a developer• on Rice Street before it proceeds with a study.
