Ayes (5) Fahey, Blesener, Scalze, Collova, LaValle. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appear•s in Resolution Book ~lo. 20, Page 481. LaValle felt that the f3uilding Inspector and City Planner shoulcl repor~t back to the Council on this matter• dir•ectly by memo or by attending the next Council meeting. Blesener suggested that the City Planner also review the parking concerns voiced as well as the site plan. Fahey suqgested that a letter be sent to Mr•. Schr•ier~ outlining the deficiencies and infor•ming him of what the City will legall,y r•equire him to do. Blesener suggested that any reports the City receives be forwarded to Mr•. P1cNabb. Kathy Scalze r~eported that Kathy Wyland is leaving the employment of the Wyland North Suburban Press and sugqested that the City send her a thanl<s for the excellent job she has done in cover~ing City events and functions. Agenda Addition Australian 7he Cicy Engineer• r•eported that he has r~eviewed the dr•ainage problem Avenue adjacent to the Peterson home on AustraBian and submitted a feasibility Drainage report on his recommendation for improvement. F stimated cost is $15,776. Impr•ovement The Engineer r•epor•ted that the r~un-off adjacent to the Peter•son pr•oper•ty is coming fr•om the street itself. The City Engineer r•ecommended that Agenda a storm sewer pipe and catch basin be installed along the property Item Pdo. 7a line to direct r•un-off into the lake. Fahey asked how the project would be paid for. Dlesener repor•ted that Public Wor•ks has suggested that since the pr~oblem is caused by street run-off, the project should be paid for from the Storm Sewer• Fund. The City Cler•k pointed out that when the City held the public hear•ing r•eqar•ding various stor~m sewer impr~ovements, this pr~oject was not included. Therefore, in order to pay for this project with storm sewer fund monies, a public hear~ing would have to be called. Notice would need to be given to the entir•e City. Page -19-
