MINUTES Cit,y Council October ?_6, 1988 Recycling all the trash haulers in the City, both commercial/industrial and residential. (Cont.) Mr•. Blesener• introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 88-10-470 - CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR NOVEP1f3ER 23, 1988 TO DISCUSS THE TOPIC OF ORGANI7ED COLLECTION WITHIN THE CITY The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. LaValle. Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Fahey. Nays (O1. Resolution declared adopted. This r~esolution appear•s in Resolution [3ook No. ?0, pag 485. Watermain Blesener reported that the City recently called for bids for~ installation To City of water•main service to the City Gar~age for sprinkling purposes. Two Garage For bids were r•eceived. One fr•om Frattalone Excavating in the amount of Spr•inkling $11,810 and the other fr•om Ro-So in the amount of $9,050. Blesener• recommended that the low bid be awar•ded. l~genda Addition Blesener also r~epor•ted that it will not be possible to get the sprinkling of the City Garage completed until next year, ther~efor~e, he would like to car~r•y over• the mone,y budgeted for• this impr~ovement during 1988 to the 1989 Budget. Mr. Blesener intr•oduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 88-10-471 - APPROVING AND AWARDING THE BID OF RO-SO CONTRACTING IN THE AMOUNT OF $9,050 FOR INSTALLATION OF l-0ATERPIAIPJ TO THE CITY GARAGE FOR SPRI~IKLING PURPOSES The for~egoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze.
