The Planning Commission suppor•ted that recommendation. <br />Ther•e was no one pr•esent wishing to comment on this recommendation. <br />Mr. Blesener• introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 88-10-456 - REZONING THE CON~1C0, <br />LEVITZ AND KNOX PROPERTIES TO BUSINESS WARE- <br />HOUSING, BW, BASED ON THE RECOMMENDATION OF TNE <br />CITY PLANNER AND PLANNING COMMISSION SINCE THIS IS <br />THE USE CURRENTLY LOCATED ON TNE PROPERTY <br />The foregoing r•esolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Qlesener•, Scalze, LaValle, Collova, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declar~ed adopted. <br />This r•esolution appear•s in Resolution Book No. 20, page 471. <br />The next area considered was tihe Rauenhorst First Addition which the <br />Cit.y Planner~ r•ecommended be r•~zoned to I-P. The Planning Commission <br />r•ecommended that the pr•oper•ty r•emain zoned I-1 until the Council <br />addr•essed the issue of building lot coverage. It was noted that some <br />pr•oper~ty owner•s i n the ar•ea had objected to the r•ezoni ng feel i ng that <br />the 35% limitation for lot cover•age was too r•estrictive. <br />The Council noted its r•ecommendation <br />to a floating lot coverage pr•ovision <br />the pr•operty owners. <br />to change the lot coverage limitation <br />which should resolve the concerns of <br />There was no one present wishing to address the pr•oposed r~ezoning of the <br />Rauenhorst Fir~st Addition. <br />The Planner~ reported that he spoke with the owners of Vincent Brass and <br />they indicated to him that their~ only objection was the 35% building <br />cover•age limitation. <br />Mrs. Scalze intr•oduced the following r•esolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTIOPJ N0. 88-10-457 - APPROVING THE REZONING <br />OF THE RAUENHORST FIRST ADDITION TO I-P DISTRICT <br />BASED ON THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE CITY PLANPdER <br />AND BASED ON COUNCIL ACTION TO CHANGE THE <br />BUILDING COVERAGE LIMITATION IN THAT DISTRICT <br />TO A FLOATING BUILDING COVERAGE PROVISION <br />The foregoing r~esolution was duly seconded by Mr•.
