MirauTEs <br />City Council <br />November• 9, 1988 <br />Little Scalze r~epor~ted that the City budgeted $70,000 in the Par~k Dedication Fund <br />Canada for the Center~ville Road Par~k. <br />El ementar•y <br />School Fahey stated that his preference for funding the shower, locker~ r~ooms and. <br />(Cont.) storage room impr•ovement was the Park Dedication Fund. <br />(3lesener agreed, based on the fact that the City is continuing to receive <br />donations to that func~. <br />Recess At this point in the meeting, 9:25 P.M., Council took a short recess. <br />The meeting was reconvened at 9:37 P.M. <br />Fahey apologized to Scalzefor•not infor•ming the entire Council of the <br />meeting with the School Distr•ict, and stated that her concerns wer~e <br />justified. Fahey commented that in the futur•e similar meetings would <br />be limited to the two members of the Council who have been appointed as <br />a committee to work ~aith the School District. Fahey also ind.icated. that <br />he would tr~y to set up a meeting with the School District which woiald <br />include the two committee member•s, Husak,as well as any gymnastics <br />instr~uctor she would like to include. Fahey pointed out that at the <br />November 23rd Council meeting, the School Distr•ict will present pr•ice <br />estimates for~ the improvements discussed this evening. <br />Cable TV alesener repor~ted that he will have a report on Cable TV for• the next <br />Report Council meeting. <br />{~genda <br />Item No. 12a <br />Service Blesener• reported that the City received two bids for a steel truck body <br />E3ody & and cr~ane. They were fr~om Crysteel Truck Equipment in the amount of <br />Truck ~9,381.00 and from Tr~uck Utilities Mfg. Co. in the amount of $8,971.00. <br />Crane Public Works has recommended that the low bid be awarded. <br />Agenda Mr. Blesener• intr•oduced the following r•esolution and moved its adoption: <br />Ad.dition <br />RESOLUTION N0. 88-11-496 - AWARDING TFIE <br />BID OF TRUCK UTILITIES P4ANUFACTURING C0. <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF $8,971.00 FOR THE <br />PURCHASE OF ONE STEEL SERVICE QODY AND <br />TRUCK CRANE <br />The for•egoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr•.
