The City Engineer r•eplied that storm sewer was included and described this portion of the improvement to the Council. Fahey noted that the petition has not been signed b,y the School Distr•ict, and indicated that any approval would be contingent upon r•eceipt of a petition signed by an author•ized repr~esentative of the School District. Mr~. Blesener• intr~oduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. ~8-12-547 - ACCEPTING THE PETITION FOR IMP. N0. 88-23 (LITTLE CANADFl SCHOOL) FOR SCHOOL DRAINAGE, PARKING LOT A~1D SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT AND WAIVING THE PUBLIC HEARING 0~1 IMP. N0. 88-23 PENDItiG SUBMISSION OF A PETITION SIGNED BY AN AUTHORIZED REPRESFNTATIVE OF THE SCHOOL DISTRICT The foregoing r•esolution v~as duly seconded by Mr. Collova. Ayes (5) Blesener, Collova, Fahey, Scalze, LaValle. Nays (0). Resolution declar•ed adopted. This reoslution appears in Resolution Book No. 20, Page 586. Mrs. Scalze introduced the followin9 r•esolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 88-12-548 - AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEFR TO PREPARE A FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR Ih1PROVFMENT N0. 88-23 AND AUTIiORIZING TNE CITY ENGINEER TO PREPARE PLANS A~ID SPECS FOR THIS IMPROVEMENT The for•egoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr~. LaValle. Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Collova, Blesener, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 20, Page 587. The City Engineer• r~eported that he would be reviewing plans and specs with the School District. Fahey pointed out the changes in the par~king lot pr•oposed fr~om what was previously submitted to the Council. Scalze suggested that as part of the improvement a sidewalk be included along the parking lot so that people using the lot do not have to walk thr•ough the lot to access the walkway to the School.
