Fahey introduced the following r•esolution and. moved. its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION P10 <br />CITY ATTOR~IEY <br />DEPARTMENT TO <br />CODE 41HATEVER <br />AND SHERIFF'S <br />GET UNSIfNTI_Y <br />The for•egoing r•esolution was duly sseconded by Mr•. Collova. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Collova, Blesener, LaValle, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 21, page 46. <br />Scalze pointed out the condition of the yard at 633 Keller Par•kway <br />notinq that there is a dump truck and backhoe stored on this residential <br />lot. Scalze asked if the size dump truck which can be stored on a <br />residential property is r•estr•icted to a certain tonnage. <br />The City Planner r•eported that a dump tr•uck stored on a r•esidential <br />lot cannot exceed 12,000 pounds, and that only one such vehicle per• <br />location is allowed and must be stored in a proper parking location. <br />The Planner r~eported that Code does not allow a backhoe stor•ed on a <br />residential lot. <br />Scalze pointed out that this situation has been in existence for thc <br />past 10 ,years. <br />Fahey suggested that the pr~oper~ty owner receive a tag for~ the storin~ <br />of the backhoe and be infor•med that it must be moved to an appropriate <br />location. <br />Fahey felt that the City should have the authority to tag and tow <br />vehicles in violation and asked the City Attorney to come back with <br />a r•ecommendation. <br />89-1-44 - INSTRUCTING THE <br />TO WORK SJITH THE SNERIFF'S <br />INCORPORATE INTO THE CITY'S <br />IS NECESSARY TO GIVE THE CITY <br />DEPARTMENT THE AUTHORITY TO <br />YARDS CLEANED UP <br />Historical Scalze reviewed the letter from Johanna Meath which was sent to the <br />Society Book var•ious City depar~tment heads regar•dina histor•y hook being put together~ <br />by the Histor•ical Society. P9eath is requesting that if department heads <br />Aqenda have any history of their departments they would like includ.ed in the <br />Addition book, that they please submit this to her. <br />Suoer• Summer• Scalze repor~ted. that she and Jim Mor~elan, Diane Husak and Julie Carc!inal <br />ar•e working on the Super• Summer Pr•ogr•am for 1989. The City has budgeted <br />Agenda $5,500 for• this program and repY'esentatives of the committee will approach <br />Addition the ~orth Suburban Youth Association for additional funding. <br />Page -7_2- <br />
