Grittman said that he did not lcnow why someone ~~~as in <br />there. ~7r, Grittman stated that he had asked the landscaper <br />about it. The landscaper indicated that kie was not aware o~ <br />the car dealer, <br />nir. IIlesener told the Council that it saas a wholesaler out <br />ot Ryan Industrial Parl:. P4r. Blesener explained further <br />tkiat he had stopped there on a Saturday after getting a <br />call. The car dealer indicated that he had gotten the <br />impression after talking to the City Clerk and Planner that <br />there would be no problem with the approval of a conditional <br />use permit. P9r, t3lesener felt that the car dealer ~aas not <br />told that he could not move into the building until he <br />received a conditional use permit. <br />Mr. Grittman i.ndicated that he had told the car dealer <br />precisely that the site was not eligible £or that kind of <br />use because os the existence of Tom's Auto Sales. <br />P4rs. Scalze stated tha~ there was a distance regulation in <br />Li~tle Canada's Code, The Council had passed it a year ago <br />so that there would not be a line up of used car dealers. <br />Page -S- <br />
