It was the
recommendation of the City Engineer that the Skibsted
property assessment remain as is noting that the
Skibsted property has a driveway to Carla Lane, and
uses Carla Lane for access.
Blesener pointed out that the Skibsted property
actually has very little frontage on Carla Lane. The
property has two driveways, one on Carla Lane and the
other on Keller Parkway. Blesener suggested a half
assessment of the Skibsted property.
Fahey stated that he agreed with the recommendation of
the City Engineer and believed that the Skibsted
property should receive the same assessment as the
other properties on Carla Lane.
Mrs. Skibsted reported that her home is basically
located on Keller Parkway. Skibsted also reported that
when the improvement hearing was held, she and her
husband stated that they would agree to the improvement
provided that curbing was installed along their
property similar to what was planned along Carla Lane.
Page 27
