MINUTES CITY COUNCIL September 27, 1989 SLUMBERLAND The Council noted that the Slumberland plan review and Conditional Use Permit request will come up for Council review on October llth. The Council requested that the Building Inspector review the site prior to the Council meeting and report on the condition of the site and whether the areas of concern raised by the Planning Commission have been addressed. Blesener suggested that the Building Inspector inform Slumberland that the Council is in agreement with the items of concern raised by the Planning Commission, and request that these matters be resolved prior to the Council meeting on October 11th. CAAMBER AREA Council reviewed the request of the Chamber of Commerce MAPS for a City ad in conjunction with the area maps to be published by the Chamber. Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 89-9-482 - AUTHORIZING A CITY AD AS REQUESTED BY THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE~ THE COST OF THE AD TO BE $170.00 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, Collova, LaValle, Blesener. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. SHERIFF'S The Sheriff's Department has informed the City of an COMPUTER informational meeting on CAD/MDT/RMS computer system SYSTEM for the Sheriff's Dispatching center. Mr. Blesener volunteered to attend that meeting. RAMSEY The Council reviewed correspondence received regarding COUNTY PARK the Ramsey County Park Task Force which was information TASK FORCE only at this point. TRAIL BIDS Scalze reviewed Bill Sanders letter dated September 27, 1989 regarding bids for bituminous trail construction extending from Spooner Park down Eli Road and DeSoto to Pioneer Park. Scalze noted that the bid amount is within budget. Page 34
