MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />September 27, 1989 <br />SWANSON Scalze reported that the Park Commission is <br />PARK CHARGE recommending that the park charge for the Swanson <br />development be in the form of land rather than cash. <br />Scalze reviewed the recommendation of Bill Sanders for <br />the area of land which the City should acquire for the <br />park charge. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89-9-493 - ADOPTING THE RECOMMENDATION <br />OF THE PARK COMMISSION WITA REGARD TO THE SWANSON PARK <br />CHARGE AND INSTRUCTING BILL SANDERS TO WORK WITH MR. <br />SWANSON TO ACHIEVE THE PARK DEDSCATION THAT THE CITY <br />DESIRES <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. <br />Collova. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Collova, Blesener, LaValle, Scalze. <br />Nays (O). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />LITTLE CANADA Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />BINGO AALL moved its adoption: <br />LICENSE <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89-9-494 - APPROVING THE LITTLE CANADA <br />BINGO HALL LICENSE, AND WAIVING THE CITY'S 60-DAY <br />REVIEW PERIOD <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. <br />Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Blesener, Collova, Scalze, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89-9-495 -REQUESTING THAT THE CHARITIES <br />HOLDING GAMBLING LICENSES WITHIN THE CITY SUBMIT THIRD <br />QUARTER REPORTS FOR 1989 BY OCTOBER 15, 1989 LISTING <br />THEIR DONATIONS MADE DURING THAT QUARTER AND THE CITY <br />IN WHICH THE RECEPIENT OF TAE DONATION IS LOCATED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. <br />Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, Collova, LaValle, Blesener. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />PAGE 41 <br />
