MINUTES CITY COUNCIL October 11, 1989 the City's powers of condemnation only extend to public purposes, and the City can be of no assistance in acquisition of the property. Fahey reported that the City's records with regard to ownership are available to Mr. Kath, and suggested that this information, in addition to County records, should indicate the ownership of the site. RECESS At this point in the meeting, 9:22 P.M., Council took a short recess. The meeting was reconvened at 9:31 P.M. THUNDER BAY The City Engineer submitted a proposed letter to be DRAINAGE sent to effected residents regarding the proposed swale improvement in the Thunder Bay area. The letter suggests that the effected property owners get together to organize for the swale improvement independent from the City in an effort to save costs. The Engineer estimated that if the project went in as a City project, the cost could double. Council agreed that the City Engineer should send the letter as proposed. COUNTY RD B The City Engineer submitted for Council approval a RECON- final feasibility report submitted by TKDA for STRUCTION County Road B reconstruction from Dale Street to 1200 feet east of Rice Street. The Engineer pointed out that the majority of the project is located in Roseville. The City's costs in the project will be $3,500. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89-10-507 - APPROVING THE FINAL FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR COUNTY ROAD B RECONSTRUCTION AS SUBMITTED BY TKDA AND AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY ENGINEER AND AUTHORIZING THE DEPUTY CLERK TO SIGN THE REPORT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY The foregoinq resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey.
