MINUTES CITY COUNCIL October 11, 1989 CITY The City Council reviewed the suggestions made by Sathe ADMINISTRATOR & Associates in their correspondence dated October 6, 1989 for revisions to the proposed City Administrator ordinance. Council was in agreement with the suggestions regarding Sections 211.010, 211.020, 211.030 (K), and 211.030 (R) (4), but felt that Sections 211.030 (J) and 211.050 should remain as proposed by the City Attorney. Mr. Blesener introduced the following ordinance and moved its adoption: ORDINANCE NO. 323 - AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE POSITION OF CITY ADMINISTRATOR AS AMENDED The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. Ayes (5) Blesener, Scalze, LaValle, Fahey, Collova. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. DELINQUENT Council discussed the need for an ordinance SEWER ACCTS establishing a$25 certification fee for delinquent sanitary sewer accounts when those delinquent fees must be placed on property taxes. A similar ordinance has been adopted for delinquent water accounts. It was the concensus of the Council to establish such a fee, however, noted that there should be only one $25 fee charged for accounts that have both delinquent sewer charges and delinquent water charges. PLAQUE FOR Fahey requested authorization to spend up to $250 for a SERVANTS OF plaque acknowledging the contributions of Servants of MARY AND ST. Mary and St. Joseph's Society towards the Little Canada JOSEPA'S Elementary School addition. Fahey suggested that the plaque be mounted in the new gymnasium. Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 89-10-509 - AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF UP TO $250.00 FOR A PLAQUE ACKNOWLEDGING THE CONTRIBUTIONS OF ST. JOSEPH'S SOCIETY AND SERVANTS OF MARY TOWARDS THE LITTLE CANADA SCHOOL ADDITION Page 18
