MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />October 11, 1989 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. <br />Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Blesener, Scalze, LaValle, Collova. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />PICK-UP Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />TRUCK moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89-10-510 - AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF <br />A NEW PICK-UP TRUCK AS BUDGETED FOR AND AWARDING THE <br />LOW BID OF POLAR CHEVROLET IN THE AMOUNT OF $13,652 <br />The foreqoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. <br />Collova. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Collova, Scalze, LaValle, Fahey. <br />Nays (O). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89-10-511 - AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF <br />A UTILITY BOX FROM TRUCK UTILITIES IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$2~845 WHICH INCLUDES A$400 REBATE FOR TRADE-IN AS <br />WELL AS BUMPERS AND TAIL LIGATS WHICH WERE ACCESSORY <br />ITEMS ON THE OTHER QUOTATIONS RECEIVED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. <br />Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Scalze, Fahey, LaValle, Collova. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />SHERIFF'S Blesener reported that the informational meeting which <br />COMPUTER he attended on CAD/MDT/RMS for the Sheriff's <br />SYSTEM dispatching center was preliminary at this time. <br />Estimated cost of the project, excluding software is <br />$1.5 million with an additional $1.5 million in cost to <br />change to another broadcasting channel. Blesener <br />reported that the plan at this point is to put together <br />a Request For Proposal, and it is estimated that that <br />could take 8 to 9 months. <br />Page 19 <br />
