MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />October 25, 1989 <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 89-10-533 - INSTRUCTING CITY STAFF TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR CITIZENS INTERESTED IN SERVING ON A <br />CITIZEN ADVISORY COMMITTEE TO STUDY THE ISSUE OF A CITY <br />HALL ADDITION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. <br />Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Scalze, Fahey, LaValle, Collova. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />OVERNIGHT The City Planner reported that he and the Building <br />PARKING Inspector have addressed the issue of overnight parking <br />ON CITY of vehicles on City property. The Building Inspector <br />PROPERTY has drafted a letter which will be placed on vehicles <br />parked overnight on City property informing the owners <br />that this is an Ordinance violation. <br />SNOW PLOW Blesener reported that the Public Works Superintendent <br />has requested that rather than purchase a new utility <br />box at this time, a new snow plow is needed for the <br />one-ton dump truck. <br />Mr. Collova introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 89-10-534 - AUTHORIZING THE PURCxASE OF <br />A NEW SNOW PLOW FOR THE ONE-TON DUMP TRUCK IN LIEU OF <br />PURCAASING A NEW UTILITY BOX BASED ON THE <br />RECOMMENDATION OF TAE PUBLIC WORKS SUPERINTENDENT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. <br />Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Collova, Blesener, Fahey, LaValle, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />RAMSEY COUNTY Blesener reported that Ramsey County Emergency Services <br />EMERGENCY has requested authorization to install additional <br />SERVICES equipment in the City's water tower. Blesener <br />suggested that if the City approves this request, the <br />City should get a waiver or agreement that the City has <br />no responsibility or liability for this equipment. <br />Page 31 <br />
