MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />November 8, 1989 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. <br />Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Blesener, Fahey, Collova, LaValle. <br />Nays (O). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />The City Auditor reviewed Exhibit L, which is a <br />proposed hearing notice for the 1990 Budget hearing. <br />The Auditor reviewed the dates that budget hearings are <br />scheduled at the County and School District levels, and <br />informed the Council that the City's budget hearing <br />cannot be scheduled for the same dates. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89-11-548 - SCHEDULING THE 1990 BUDGET <br />HEARING FOR WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 13, 1989 AT 7:30 P.M. <br />AND, IF NECESSARY, SCHEDULING A SECOND BUDGET HEARING <br />FOR TxURSDAY, DECEMBER 14, 1989 AT 6:00 P.M. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. <br />LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Blesener, Fahey, Collova. <br />Nays (O). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89-11-549 - APPROVING USE OF THE PUBLIC <br />HEARING NOTICE THAT APPEARS AS EXHIBIT L OF THE CITY <br />AUDITOR'S REPORT DATED NOVEMBER 7, 1989 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. <br />Fahey. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Fahey, Scalze, Collova, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />IMP. N0. The City Engineer reviewed his report dated November 3, <br />88-7 1989 which contained a tabulation of bids for Imp. No. <br />PAYNE AVE. 88-7, Payne Avenue. The Engineer reported that nine <br />bids were received with the bids ranging from a low of <br />approximately $86,000 to a high of $122,000.
