MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
January 10, 1990
Farnham stated that he has seen few projects under $2
million where this has been done successfully.
Hanson felt that this was an alternative that the City
should explore. Hanson explained that a firm could be
retained by the City in the capacity of construction
manager in order to save project costs. The actual design of the building has
not been started.
Scalze suggested that other proposals should be
requested in order to keep costs down.
Council discussed seeking proposals from other firms
and the timing involved. It was the concensus of the
Council to seek a proposal from Boarman & Associates,
however, if the Administrator determines that the
Page 6
