MINUTES CITY COUNCIL January 10, 1990 proposal is out-of-line, the formal bidding process should be initiated. Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-1-4 - INSTRUCTING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO SOLICIT A FORMAL PROPOSAL FROM BOARMAN AND ASSOCIATES FOR FINAL DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW FIRE STATION WITH THAT PROPOSAL TO BE REVIEWED BY THE ADMINISTRATOR WITH CITY STAFF, AND IF DETERMINED TO BE OUT-OF-LINE, THE ADMINISTRATOR SAOULD INITIATE THE FORMnL BIDDING PROCESS The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. Ayes (5) Fahey, Blesener, Collova, Scalze, LaValle. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. FINAL PLAT Fahey reviewed the City Planner's report dated January & DEVELOPMENT 10, 1990 on the Centre Place final plat. AGREEMENT CENTRE PLACE The City Engineer reported that street construction plans are in the process of being finalized. The City Attorney reported that he is in the process of reviewing abstracts to verify the title of the property. The City Engineer reported that Boosalis would like a fill permit to begin grading the street in order to beqin construction on a model home. However, the Engineer felt this issue was separate from the final plat. The Engineer reported that normally the City would require that curbing be installed before construction is begun on a model home, however, a building permit could be issued without the curbing if the developer's engineer certifies that the house will be constructed to grade. The City Engineer recommended approval of the final plat. The City Engineer noted that the final plat will need to be filed before any grading or construction can commence. The Administrator reported that the developer has executed the Development Agreement. Page 7
