MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />January 10, 1990 <br />proposal is out-of-line, the formal bidding process <br />should be initiated. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-1-4 - INSTRUCTING THE CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR TO SOLICIT A FORMAL PROPOSAL FROM BOARMAN <br />AND ASSOCIATES FOR FINAL DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF A <br />NEW FIRE STATION WITH THAT PROPOSAL TO BE REVIEWED BY <br />THE ADMINISTRATOR WITH CITY STAFF, AND IF DETERMINED TO <br />BE OUT-OF-LINE, THE ADMINISTRATOR SAOULD INITIATE THE <br />FORMnL BIDDING PROCESS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Blesener, Collova, Scalze, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />FINAL PLAT Fahey reviewed the City Planner's report dated January <br />& DEVELOPMENT 10, 1990 on the Centre Place final plat. <br />AGREEMENT <br />CENTRE PLACE The City Engineer reported that street construction <br />plans are in the process of being finalized. <br />The City Attorney reported that he is in the process of <br />reviewing abstracts to verify the title of the <br />property. <br />The City Engineer reported that Boosalis would like a <br />fill permit to begin grading the street in order to <br />beqin construction on a model home. However, the <br />Engineer felt this issue was separate from the final <br />plat. The Engineer reported that normally the City <br />would require that curbing be installed before <br />construction is begun on a model home, however, a <br />building permit could be issued without the curbing if <br />the developer's engineer certifies that the house will <br />be constructed to grade. The City Engineer recommended <br />approval of the final plat. <br />The City Engineer noted that the final plat will need <br />to be filed before any grading or construction can <br />commence. <br />The Administrator reported that the developer has <br />executed the Development Agreement. <br />Page 7 <br />
