MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />January 24, 1990 <br />FOR THE PURPOSE OF REVIEWING TAE PROPOSAL FOR <br />ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES SUBMITTED BY BOARMAN & <br />ASSOCIATES FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW FIRE STATION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, Blesener, Collova, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />The City Attorney reported that under the present <br />agreement with Boarman & Associates, the owner has the <br />right to retain copies of the documents, however, the <br />subsequent use of the documents would involve <br />compensation. <br />UMBRELLA The City Attorney reported that he would like to look <br />COVERAGE into the issue of the City's umbrella insurance <br />coverage further before making a recommendation on the <br />issue of waiver of tort liability, and asked that this <br />matter be tabled for two weeks. <br />The City Attorney stated that he would like to confirm <br />the numbers, and asked that the matter be tabled for <br />two weeks. <br />Council agreed. <br />CLOSED The City Attorney requested a closed session following <br />SESSION the meeting to discuss pending litigation. <br />Mr. Collova introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoptions <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-1-40 - CALLING FOR A CLOSED SESSION <br />FOLLOWING TONIGHT'S COUNCIL MEETING TO DISCUSS PENDING <br />LITIGATION AS REQUESTED BY THE CITY ATTORNEY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. <br />Ayes (5) Collova, Fahey, LaValle, Blesener, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Page 17 <br />
