MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />February 14, 1990 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze, <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />The City Administrator suggested that the City <br />advertise for bids for the Centre Place improvement. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the followinq resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-2-81 - AUTHORIZING THE ADVERTISEMENT <br />FOR BIDS FOR THE CENTRE PLACE IMPROVEMENT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (4) Fahey, LaValle, Collova, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />The City Engineer pointed out that watermain will be <br />extended into the project, and the cost of watermain <br />would be levied in the assessment for the project, <br />Mr. Collova introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-2-82 - APPROVING THE EXPENDITURE OF <br />$13,046 FOR EXTENSION OF WATERMAIN INTO THE CENTRE <br />PLACE PROJECT, WITH THAT COST TO BE ASSESSED BACK <br />AGAINST THE BENEFITING PROPERTIES <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (4) Collova, LaValle, Fahey, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />NORTH STAR Fahey reported to Mr. Fran Husnick, owner of the North <br />ESTATES Star Estates Mobilehome Park, that the County has <br />MOBILEHOME denied the City's application for community development <br />PARK STORM block grant funds to finance construction of a storm <br />SHELTER shelter in the park. Fahey reported that the Council <br />would like to do a survey of the residents of the park <br />to determine whether they feel the on-site shelter is <br />necessary or whether use of the County Garage <br />facilities as a storm shelter is adequate. Council <br />asked Mr. Husnick how such a survey could be <br />distributed to the park residents. <br />Page 15 <br />
