MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />February 14, 1990 <br />The Administrator also reported on his discussions with <br />Boarman & Associates and their position that credit <br />would not be given for the phase one design work that <br />was done. Boarman takes the position that the Council <br />was fully aware of this, and the Administrator reported <br />that he has reviewed past minutes and finds nothing to <br />dispute this position, <br />Fahey stated that he agreed with Boarman's position. <br />The Administrator reported that he feels Boarman has <br />made substantial concessions from the contract proposal <br />that was initially submitted, and stated that he felt <br />comfortable with the contract proposal that has been <br />negotiated. <br />Fahey stated that he believed the Administrator had <br />done a good job negotiating the contract. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-2-84 - APPROVING THE BOARMAN & <br />ASSOCIATES CONTRACT FOR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES FOR THE <br />FIRE STATION PROJECT AND CITY CENTER EXPANSION PROJECT <br />AS PRESENTED BY THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR AND AUTHORIZING <br />THE MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE THE <br />CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (4) Fahey, LaValle, Collova, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Ressolution declared adopted. <br />ADDITIONAL The Administrator reviewed the Sheriff's Committee <br />SQUAD CAR recommendation for the purchase of an additional squad <br />car and related equipment by the contracting cities. <br />The Administrator pointed out that the City's cost <br />would be approximately $2,962.12, and the other <br />contracting cities have approved the recommendation. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-2-85 - APPROVING THE CITY'S PRO-RATA <br />PARTICIPATION IN THE PURCHASE OF AN ADDITIONAL SQUAD <br />CAR FOR THE RAMSEY COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT AT A <br />COST TO THE CITY OF APPROXIMATELY $2,962.12 <br />Page 18 <br />
