MINUTES <br />City Council <br />February 28, 1990 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-2-104 - REFERRING THE ISSUE OF THE <br />FRATTALONE RECYCLING CENTER TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />FOR REVIEW AND RECOMMENDATION AT THEIR APRIL MEETING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, Collova, Blesener, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted, <br />LANDSCAPE The Council discussed the correspondence received from <br />ORDINANCE the City Planner and Bill Sanders regarding a landscape <br />ordinance for the City. It was the concensus of the <br />Council that the Planner and Sanders jointly develop a <br />model landscape ordinance for the Council to review. <br />PLANNING Council reviewed the proposed revision to the Planner's <br />CONTRACT contract for services. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-2-105 - APPROVING THE REVISION TO THE <br />PLANNER'S CONTRACT FOR SERVICES DATED JANUARY 24, 1990 <br />AS SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Scalze, Collova, LaValle, Fahey. <br />Nays (o). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />METRO EAST Council reviewed correspondence from the City <br />DEVELOPMENT Administrator dated February 23, 1990 regarding City <br />PARTNERSHIP participation in the Metro East Development <br />Partnership. <br />The City Planner agreed with statements in that <br />correspondence indicating that underdeveloped <br />communities have more to gain from membership in Metro <br />East than communities without a lot of vacant land. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 90-2-106 - DECLARING THAT THE CITY WILL <br />NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE METRO EAST DEVELOPMENT <br />PARTNERSHIP FOR THE YEAR 1990 <br />Page 21 <br />
