MINUTES <br />City Council <br />February 28, 1990 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Blesener, <br />Nays (O). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />JOINT Collova reported that the Chairperson of the Planning <br />MEETING WITH Commission has contacted him asking for a joint meeting <br />PLANNING with the Council. <br />COMMISSION <br />The Council discussed this request and suggested that a <br />joint meeting could be held prior to the Council <br />meeting on April llth at 6:30 P.M. Council asked that <br />this suqgestion be forwarded to the Commission at their <br />meeting on March 8th, and, if necessary, the Commission <br />can schedule another date. <br />ISSUES It was the concensus of the Council to schedule an <br />WORKSHOP administrative issues workshop for Wednesday, March <br />14th, at 6 P.M. <br />NORTHEAST Council noted that there was one response to the City's <br />CORRIDOR advertisement for representation on the Northeast <br />LIGHT RAIL Corridor Light Rail Transit Task Force. The City has <br />TRANSIT been asked for two representatives and one alternate to <br />TASK FORCE the Task Force. The application received is from Karen <br /> Johnson on Arcade Street and the City Administrator <br /> reviewed Ms. Johnson's qualifications. <br /> Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved <br /> its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 90-2-107 - NOMINATING KAREN JOI-INSON AS <br /> THE CITY'S REPRESENTATIVE TO THE NORTHEAST CORRIDOR <br /> LIGHT RAIL TRANSIT TASK FORCE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, LaValle, Collova, Scalze, Blesener. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />HAZMAT The Council reviewed the proposed agreement from the <br />AGREEMENT City of St. Paul to provide hazardous materials <br />clean-up for Little Canada. Fahey noted that it is the <br />recommendation of the City's Fire Chief to enter into <br />the agreement with St. Paul even though it provides <br />more than the City is legally required to do.
