MINUTES <br />City Council <br />February 28, 1990 <br />material coverage and the cost of buying this service <br />from St. Paul is $1,100 per year. <br />The City Attorney reported that he has some concern <br />with the wording of paragraph 4.1 regarding information <br />and paragraph 6.2 regarding indemnification. The <br />Attorney suggested that he clarify this wording with <br />the City of St. Paul. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-2-108 - APPROVING THE HAZARDOUS <br />MATERIALS CONTRACT WITH THE CITY OF ST. PAUL AND <br />APPOINTING JOEL R. HANSON AS THE CITY'S AUTHORIZED <br />REPRESENTATIVE AND FRANK GRACZYK AS THE CITY'S LIAISON, <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE <br />THE CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY SUBJECT TO TxE CITY <br />ATTORNEY PURSUING ANY CHANGES IN CONTRACT WORDING WHICH <br />HE FEELS NECESSARY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Blesener, Collova, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />CABLE TV Blesener reported that the Cable TV Commission is close <br />TRANSFER OF to finalizing an agreement for the transfer of local <br />LOCAL ACCESS access. Representatives of nine of the member cities <br />have approved the agreement, and the position of the <br />tenth representative will be known shortly. If the <br />agreement is finalized by the Commission, Blesener <br />reported that he will be bringing it to the Council for <br />action. <br />UTILITY Blesener reported that the current utility billing <br />BILLING system will reach its maximum capacity shortly, <br />SYSTEM therefore, City staff is recommending the purchase of <br />new system. Blesener reviewed the recommendation of <br />the Public Works Superintendent as outlined in his <br />letter dated February 28, 1990 for the purchase of a <br />new Banyon system. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-2-109 - APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF A <br />BANYON UTILITY BILLING SYSTEM AT A COST OF $3,322.00 AS <br />RECOMMENDED BY CITY STAFF <br />Page 23 <br />
