MINUTES CITY COUNCIL March 14, 1990 if the Fire Department was willing to pay for this installation. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-3-123 - APPROVING THE AGREEMENT FOR THE INSTALLATION OF AN OPTICOM SYSTEM AT THE INTERSECTION OF RICE STREET AND COUNTY ROAD C, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO SIGN THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Fahey, Collova, Scalze, Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. GANZEL FILL The City Engineer reported that he discussed with Mr. PERMIT Ganzel his application for a fill permit. The Engineer reported that Mr. Ganzel has not determined whether or not he needs a permit from the Watershed, plus there is the question of the drainage easement. The Engineer reported that these items should be resolved in the next couple of weeks, at which time he would bring the matter back before the Council. Fahey suggested that the City Engineer work with the City Attorney on the legal description for the drainage easement. 1990 SEWER The Public Works Superintendent appeared before the & WATER Council presentinq the proposed 1990 Sewer and Water BUDGETS Budgets. The Superintendent reviewed in detail the proposed 1990 Water Budget pointing out a revision in the Budget increasing the line item for Board of Water Commissioners to $350,000, bringing the total budget amount to $585,627. This increase was necessary due to estimated costs from the City of St. Paul. The Public Works Superintendent reported that based on the Water Budget proposed, he is recommending that the City's water rates remain at $1.50 per thousand gallons and that the water availability charge remain at $11.50 per quarter.
