MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />March 28, 1990 <br />Kath replied that they would. <br />Scalze felt the site should be paved, and also asked <br />about landscaping. <br />The City Planner reported that Code requires parking to <br />be setback five feet from property lines. These five <br />foot areas will be landscaped, however, the Planner <br />stated that he has not had a chance to review the <br />landscaping plan. The Planner recommended concept <br />approval of the proposal, however, pointed out that the <br />Planning Commission recommended full approval. <br />Scalze felt this an opportunity to look at the entire <br />parcel and get it upgraded. Scalze pointed out the <br />lack of landscaping in the area, and wanted to see some <br />landscapinq done. <br />A representative of Kath Bros. reported that the site <br />will be landscaped and also described the access <br />proposed in and out of the site. <br />Blesener asked the location of easement lines asking if <br />the underground tanks would be within the road easement <br />area. <br />The Planner pointed out that the tanks will be located <br />underground and would not cause a problem. <br />Fahey asked that the staff verify that the buildings <br />are not encroaching into setback areas, pointing out <br />the limited amount of road easement for Woodlyn Avenue. <br />Collova felt the proposal was an improvement for the <br />area. <br />Blesener suggested approval subject to review and <br />approval by the City Planner and City Engineer. If <br />there are any problems that cannot be resolved at staff <br />level, the proposal can be brought back before the <br />Council. <br />There was no one from the general public present <br />wishing to comment on this matter. <br />Upon motion by Fahey, seconded by Blesener, the public <br />hearing was closed. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />Page 8 <br />
