MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />April 11, 1990 <br />The City Attorney noted that the City can obtain a hold <br />harmless letter from the Runestrand's. <br />Morelan pointed out that the house is in the possession <br />of the Mondor's until May lst. <br />Scalze also noted the interest expressed by Edith <br />Schultz in the shed on the Mondor property. <br />It was the concensus of the Council that the City <br />Administrator address the requests of Mr. Runestrand <br />and Mrs. Schultz and that liability waivers be obtained <br />in both instances. <br />PIONEER PARK Scalze reviewed Bill Sanders letter dated April 10, <br />SITE 1990 requesting authorization to advertise for bids <br />IMPROVEMENTS for Pioneer Park site improvements, which include site <br />work around the building, backstop fencing, basketball <br />court, tennis courts and the pedestrian bridge. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-4-188 - AUTHORIZING THE PARK <br />CONSULTANT TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE PIONEER PARK <br />SITE IMPROVEMENTS AS REQUESTED IN HIS LETTER DATED <br />APRIL 10, 1990 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (4) Scalze, Blesener, Collova, LaValle <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />LaValle suggested that the issue of the site <br />improvements be forwarded to the Planning Commission. <br />Scalze pointed out that the Planning Commission <br />reviewed the site plan for Pioneer Park which included <br />these improvements. <br />Blesener stated that location of a park is an issue for <br />consideration by the Planning Commission, however, what <br />is within the park is for the Park Commission to <br />address. <br />It was the concensus of the Council that Bill Sanders' <br />letter be forwarded to the Planning Commission as an <br />information item. <br />Page 23 <br />
