MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />April 11, 1990 <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-4-166 - APPROVING THE CLASS A <br />GAMBLING LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION SUBMITTED BY THE <br />NORTH SUBURBAN YOUTH ASSOCIATION FOR THE LICENSE PERIOD <br />JULY 1, 1990 THROUGH JUNE 30, 1991 SUBJECT TO THE <br />REQUIREMENTS OF THE CITY'S RECENTLY ADOPTED TRADE <br />ORDINANCE, RECEIPT OF A SATISFACTORY SHERIFF'S REPORT <br />AND BASED ON THE FACT TAAT THE COUNCIL HAS REVIEWED THE <br />APPLICATION AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS AND FINDS THEM TO <br />BE IN ORDER <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Blesener, Collova, Scalze. <br />Nays (o). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />GAMBLING Council reviewed the application for renewal of Class A <br />LICENSE gambling license submitted by the Little Canada <br />FIRE DEPT. Volunteer Fire Department. It was noted that the <br />Sheriff's reports are still pending. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 90-4-167 - APPROVING THE CLASS A <br />GAMBLING LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION SUBMITTED BY THE <br />LITTLE CANADA VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT FOR THE LICENSE <br />PERIOD JULY 1, 1990 THROUGH JUNE 30, 1991 SUBJECT TO <br />THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE CITY'S RECENTLY ADOPTED TRADE <br />ORDINANCE, RECEIPT OF A SATISFACTORY SHERIFF'S REPORT <br />AND BASED ON THE FACT THAT THE COUNCIL HAS REVIEWED THE <br />APPLICATION FORM AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS AND FINDS <br />THEM TO BE IN ORDER <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Blesener, Scalze, Collova. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />ONE-DAY Council reviewed the application submitted by the North <br />GAMBLING End Business Club for Exemption from Lawful Gambling <br />PERMIT - License so that the North End Business Club can hold a <br />NORTH END gold plate dinner at the Venetian Inn on Sunday, May 6, <br />BUSINESS CLUB 1990. It was noted that the application is for raffles <br />only, therefore, the sale of pull-tabs by the North End <br />Business Club would not be allowed. <br />Page 7 <br />
