MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
APRIL 25, 1990
proposals received for construction management of the
Fire Station and City Center expansion projects. That
committee will choose what they determine to be the top
three proposals, with the Council to interview those
firms.
Collova indicated that he would be interested in
serving on this committee.
It was the concensus of the Council to call a special
meeting for Wednesday, May 2nd at 7 P.M. to conduct
interviews of the three construction management firms
recommended by the subcommittee. Council also felt
that the architect should be involved in the proposal
review process.
ROSEVILLE Scalze pointed out the correspondence from the City
CIRCULATOR Administrator on the Roseville Circulator.
Council discussed this matter and felt that the City
Administrator and Mary Ann O'Kane of the Marketplace
should represent the City and work with the Regional
Transit Board to try to get additional routes within
the City for the Roseville Circulator so that there is
potential for the Circulator to bring Little Canada
residents to the Market Place.
The Administrator pointed out that at this time the RTB
is proposing to conduct a survey to determine if there
is any interest in the expanded routes and the RTB is
asking the City to pick up the costs of distribution of
such a survey.
Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 90-4-221 - DESIGNATING JOEL HANSON AND
MARY ANN O'KANE AS THE CITY'S REPRESENTATIVES ON THE
ISSUE OF EXPANDED ROUTES WITHIN THE CITY FOR THE
ROSEVILLE CIRCULATOR
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey>
Ayes (5) Scalze, Fahey, Blesener, LaValle, Collova.
Nays (0).
Resolution declared adopted.
BITUMINOUS Council discussed the issue of bituminous recycling
RECYCLING in the area of Country Drive, with Blesener pointing
Page 26
