MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />May 9, 1990 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Blesener, Collova, LaValle, Scalze. <br />Nays (O). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />CONSTRUCTION The City Attorney submitted to the Council a proposed <br />MANAGEMENT contract between the City and Kraus Anderson for <br />CONTRACT construction management of the new fire station and <br />City Center expansion projects. The City Attorney <br />reported that the language contained in the contract <br />has been discussed with Kraus Anderson, and is <br />acceptable to them. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-5-238 - APPROVING THE CONTRACT FOR <br />CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES BETWEEN THE CITY AND <br />KRAUS ANDERSON AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE <br />CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Collova, Fahey, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />PROPERTY Council discussed the City Administrator's report <br />VALUATION dated May 4, 1990 regarding property valuation services <br />SERVICE through the League of MN Cities. It was the concensus <br />of the Council that the service was not needed, <br />however, Council instructed LaValle and the City <br />Administrator to review and make a recommendation for <br />additions or deletions to the listing of City insured <br />properties. <br />COMPOST Council reviewed the correspondence in the agenda <br />ORDINANCE packets regarding the compost ordinance adopted by the <br />City of St. Paul. It was the concensus of the Council <br />to accept this as information at this time. <br />CANADIAN Council noted that the correspondence in the agenda <br />DAYS regarding Canadian Days Coordinator position was just <br />COORDINATOR information at this time. <br />Page 16 <br />
