MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />May 9, 1990 <br />CHANGE IMP. Due to publication requirements, City staff requested <br />HEARING DATE that the improvement hearing scheduled for Imp. No. <br />90-7, County Road D by shoulder paving be rescheduled. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 90-5-241 - CHANGING THE IMPROVEMENT <br />HEARING DATE FOR IMPROVEMENT NO. 90-7, COUNTY ROAD D <br />SHOULDER PAVING, TO TUESDAY, JUNE 12, 1990 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Fahey, Blesener. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />AUDIT Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />WORKSHOP moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-5-242 - CALLING FOR A COUNCIL <br />WORKSHOP MEETING FOR WEDNESDAY, MAY 30, 1990, AT 7:00 <br />P.M. FOR PURPOSES OF REVIEWING THE 1989 AUDIT REPORT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Blesener, Collova, Fahey, LaValle. <br />Nays (O). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />DAWN KOHLER Council reviewed the City Administrator's letter dated <br />RESIGNATION May 4, 1990 regarding the resignation of Dawn Kohler <br />& HIRING and a suggested hiring policy for the City. <br />POLICY <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 90-5-243 - ACCEPTING THE RESIGNATION OF <br />DAWN KOHLER <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Blesener, Fahey, LaValle, Collova. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Council reviewed the suggested hiring policy. <br />Jim Morelan, Recreation Director, reported that he had <br />some concern with the policy as it addresses seasonal <br />employees who work a limited number of hours. <br />Page 18 <br />
