MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />May 23, 1990 <br />SPOONER PARK Scalze reviewed the recommendation of the Park <br />TENNIS CoURT Commission to scrape and paint tennis court light poles <br />LIGHT POLES at a cost of $387. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-5-264 - AUTHORIZING THE SCRAPING AND <br />PAINTING OF TENNIS COURT LIGHT POLES IN SPOONER PARK AT <br />A COST OF $387.00 WITH PAYMENT TO BE MADE FROM THE PARK <br />FUND BASED ON THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE PARK COMMISSION <br />The foreqoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Blesener, Collova, LaValle, Fahey. <br />Nays (O). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />PIONEER Scalze pointed out that the Pioneer Park recreation <br />PARK building is under construction. <br />Fahey asked about the grass in the park. <br />Scalze replied that Sanders & Associates is following <br />up on the grass. The contractor has indicated that any <br />areas where the grass is not growing because of natural <br />causes will be reseeded. The contractor will provide <br />an estimate for reseeding of vandalized areas. Scalze <br />recommended that another estimate be obtained. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-5-265 - INSTRUCTING SANDERS & <br />ASSOCIATES TO OBTAIN A COMPETITIVE QUOTE FOR RESEEDING <br />OF VANDALIZED AREAS IN PIONEER PARK <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by 5calze. <br />Ayes (5j Scalze, Blesener, Fahey, LaValle, Collova. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Collova asked anyone from the general public observing <br />vandalism, which includes motorized vehicles, in the <br />park to please notify the Sheriff's Department. <br />CENTRE PLACE The City Attorney reviewed his letter dated May 22, <br />EASEMENTS & 1990 listing the easements necessary for Centre Place <br />APPRAISED as well as appraised values in conjunction with those <br />VALUES easements. <br />Page 21 <br />
