MINUTES CITY COUNCIL May 23, 1990 SPOONER PARK Scalze reviewed the recommendation of the Park TENNIS CoURT Commission to scrape and paint tennis court light poles LIGHT POLES at a cost of $387. Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-5-264 - AUTHORIZING THE SCRAPING AND PAINTING OF TENNIS COURT LIGHT POLES IN SPOONER PARK AT A COST OF $387.00 WITH PAYMENT TO BE MADE FROM THE PARK FUND BASED ON THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE PARK COMMISSION The foreqoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. Ayes (5) Scalze, Blesener, Collova, LaValle, Fahey. Nays (O). Resolution declared adopted. PIONEER Scalze pointed out that the Pioneer Park recreation PARK building is under construction. Fahey asked about the grass in the park. Scalze replied that Sanders & Associates is following up on the grass. The contractor has indicated that any areas where the grass is not growing because of natural causes will be reseeded. The contractor will provide an estimate for reseeding of vandalized areas. Scalze recommended that another estimate be obtained. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-5-265 - INSTRUCTING SANDERS & ASSOCIATES TO OBTAIN A COMPETITIVE QUOTE FOR RESEEDING OF VANDALIZED AREAS IN PIONEER PARK The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by 5calze. Ayes (5j Scalze, Blesener, Fahey, LaValle, Collova. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. Collova asked anyone from the general public observing vandalism, which includes motorized vehicles, in the park to please notify the Sheriff's Department. CENTRE PLACE The City Attorney reviewed his letter dated May 22, EASEMENTS & 1990 listing the easements necessary for Centre Place APPRAISED as well as appraised values in conjunction with those VALUES easements.
