MINUTES CITY COUNCIL JUNE 12, 1990 and City Attorney present a zoninq ordinance revision for action at the next Council meeting. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-6-280 - INSTRUCTING THE CITY PLANNER TO PREPARE AN ORDINANCE AMENDMENT ON THE ISSUE OF ZONING REVISIONS TO REGULATE ADULT BOOK STORES, PRESENT THE PROPOSAL TO THE CITY ATTORNEY FOR HIS REVIEW, AND TO TAE COUNCIL FOR ACTION AT THEIR NEXT MEETING The foregoing resolution was duly seoonded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. ANNUAL On May 30, 1990 the Council held a workshop meeting to FINANCING review the City'S 1989 Annual Financial Report and the REPORT Auditor's recommendations that were a part of that report. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-6-281 - APPROVING THE 1989 ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT A5 SUBMITTED BY THE CITY AUDITOR AND ADOPTING THE AUDITOR'S RECOMMENDATIONS AS CONTAINED ON PAGE 47 OF THAT REPORT WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE RECOMMENDATION TO UPDATE THE CITY'S DEBT STUDY The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. Ayes (5) Blesener, Scalze, Collova, Fahey, LaValle. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. COOPERATIVE The Council reviewed the City Administrator'S letter PURCHASING dated June 5, 1990 regarding the State of Minnesota's VENTURE Cooperative Purchasing Venture and the cost savings that can be realized by taking advantage of State-negotiated contracts. Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 90-6-282 - APPROVING TAE CITY'S PARTICIPATION IN THE STATE OF MINNESOTA'S COOPERATIVE PURCHASING VENTURE AT A COST OF $315 ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP Page 17
