MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
JUNE 27, 1990
UTILITY EASEMENTS, AND, IF NECESSARY~ THE CITY ATTORNEY
IS AUTHORIZED TO PROCEED AS NECESSARY FOR FILING AND
RECORDING OF THESE EASEMENTS
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalzee
Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, LaValle, Blesener, Collova.
Nays (0).
Resolution declared adopted.
CENTRE PLACE The City Engineer reviewed his report dated June 22,
CHANGE 1990 regarding change-orders for the Centre Place
ORDER5 public improvements. The Engineer reported that the
majority of the change-orders were the result of the
City's changing the grade within the plat. The
Engineer reported that due to the regrading, the
elevation of the roadway has been lowered by two feet
and the elevation of portions of the property backing
up against Iona Lane properties has been lowered by
three feet.
The Engineer reported the need for fill on four of the
Centre Place lots. The regrading will generate excess
fill material. Fill can be deposited on two of the
lots quite readily, however, there is the need for
clearing of some trees on the other two lots in order
that they can be filled. The Engineer reported that
the owners of these two lots have been informed of the
details.
The Engineer reported that two of the proposed change-
orders involve deducts, one involves a change in the
material used for a portion of the storm sewer piping,
and the other is a reduction in the amount of granular
material to be used under the road since fabric will be
used in road construction. The third change-order
requires no change in contract amount and involves
changes in elevations of utilities.
Mr. Collova introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 90-6-306 - APPROVING THE CENTRE PLACE
CHANGE-ORDERS AS PRESENTED BY THE CITY ENGINEER AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE
THESE CHANGE-ORDERS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze.
Ayes (5) Collova, Scalze, Blesener, LaValle, Fahey.
Nays (o).
Resolution declared adopted.
Page 23
