MINUTES CITY COUNCIL JUNE 27, 1990 newsletter. These quotes are from Fortmeyer & Lang Printers as well as Press Publications. The Administrator reported that currently Press Publications is printing the newsletter as well as providing a person to assist in putting together articles. However, the Administrator reported that the majority of the work involved in putting together the articles is already being done by City staff. It was pointed out that there is currently a deadline of six weeks prior to printing for submission of article"s. If the editorial assistance is eliminated, that deadline would be two weeks. Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 90-6-308 - ACCEPTING THE LOW BID OF FORTMEYER & LANG PRINTERS FOR PRINTING OF THE CITY'S NEWSLETTER ON A QUARTERLY BASIS, AND APPROVING THE COORDINATION OF THE PUBLICATION BY THE CITY STAFF The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, Blesener, LaValle, Collova. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. The Administrator asked if anyone from the Council was interested in working on the editorial staff. The Mayor indicated that he would be willing to serve on the editorial staff. POLICE Council reviewed the report of the City Administrator PROTECTION dated June 22, 1990 outlining the recommendations of COSTS the committee to continue to contract for police protection services with the Ramsey County Sheriff's Department. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-6-309 - ACCEPTING THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE STUDY COMMITTEE TO CONTINUE TO CONTRACT FOR POLICE PROTECTION SERVICES WITH THE RAMSEY COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze.
