MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
JUNE 27, 1990
$150,000 for that portion of the Country Drive
improvement that will be assessed, and $365,000 for the
Centre Place public improvements.
There was no one from the general public wishing to
comment on this matter.
The Administrator pointed out that bond payments will
be made from funds generated by special assessments and
TIF proceeds, and will not be a general obligation of
the City regarding speoial tax levies.
Upon motion by Blesener, seconded by LaValle, the
public hearing was closed.
Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 90-6-294 - ACCEPTING THE BID OF CRONIN &
COMPANY, INC. FOR A NET EFFECTIVE RATE OF 6.74% ON SALE
OF $515~000 GENERAL OBLIGATION TAX INCREMENT AND
IMPROVEMENT BONDS OF 1990, PROVIDING FOR THEIR ISSUANCE
AND PLEDGING FOR THE SECURITY THEREOF TAX INCREMENTS
AND SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle.
Ayes (4) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Collova.
Nays (o).
Resolution declared adopted.
DUCHARME Council reviewed the application submitted by Gerald
PROPERTY and Clara Ducharme for the resubdivision of their
DIVISION property located at 720 and 738 East County Road B-2.
It was noted that the property has already been divided
and the Ducharme's are requesting an adjustment of a
lot line. The Planning Commission has recommended
approval of the lot line adjustment.
Mr. Larry Houk, attorney representing Mrs. Ducharme,
reported that Mrs. Ducharme would like the lot line
adjustment in order to divide the property into two
equally-sized lots. This is proposed as part of Mrs.
Ducharme's estate planning. Houk reported that the
family will grant the necessary easements as
recommended and will work with the City Engineer on
this issue.
Blesener asked the what the future plans were for the
driveway easement through the western parcel.
Page 3
