MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 27, 1990 <br />Houk replied that plans are to abolish the driveway <br />easement and create a new driveway for the eastern <br />parcel. <br />There was no one from the general public present <br />wishing to comment on this matter. <br />LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-6-295 - APPROVING THE DUCHARME <br />PROPERTY DIVISION FOR 720 AND 738 EAST COUNTY ROAD B-2 <br />AS REQUESTED SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE <br />RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNER AS CONTAINED IN HIS <br />REPORT DATED JUNE 14, 1990 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Blesener. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolutions declared adopted. <br />M-V GAS CO. Acting Mayor opened the public hearing on the request <br />CONDITIONAL of M-V Gas Company for a conditional use permit to <br />USE PERMIT install a propane motor fuel dispenser consisting of <br />1,000 gallon storage tank, pump meter and hose at 300 <br />Little Canada Road. The Planning Commission has <br />recommended approval of the request. <br />Stan Von Bokern, M-V Gas Co., appeared before the <br />Council and explained the proposal as well as its <br />proposed location, pointing out that the tank will be <br />installed parallel to the curb line and vehicles using <br />the tank would pull up parallel to the tank. Von <br />Bokern did not anticipate any traffic flow problems. <br />There was no one present from the general public <br />wishing to comment on this matter. <br />The Council referred to comments made at the Planning <br />Commission meeting about use of the tank for <br />advertising. <br />Von Bokern explained that there would be lettering on <br />the tank identifying it as a propane tank. There would <br />also be a small M-V Gas Co. decal as well as <br />instructions on the tank. <br />Upon motion by Blesener, seconded by LaValle, the <br />public hearing was closed. <br />Page 4 <br />
