MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 27, 1990 <br />There was no one from the general public present <br />wishing to comment on this matter. <br />5calze pointed out that the existing garage straddles <br />the proposed lot line, and the.City Planner has <br />suggested that either the lot line be moved or the <br />garage be moved. Scalze read a letter from Father <br />Fitzpatrick of St. John's indicating that the <br />preference of the Parish Council is to remove the <br />garage and they are looking for someone who is <br />interested in it. The Church has indicated that they <br />will commit to removal of the garage by October lst. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-6-299 - APPROVING THE REQUEST OF ST. <br />JOHN'S CHURCH TO DIVIDE THEIR PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE <br />NORTH SIDE OE LITTLE CANADA ROAD INTO TWO LOTS SUBJECT <br />° TO THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNER AS CONTAINED <br />IN HIS REPORT DATED JUNE 11, 1990 AND SUBJECT TO <br />REMOVAL OF THE GARAGE FROM THE PROPERTY BY OCTOBER 1, <br />1990 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Collova, Scalze, Fahey. <br />Nays (O). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />MOSTAD Council reviewed the application received from Gertrude <br />PRELIMINARY Mostad for the subdivision of her property located at <br />PLAT 2720 Noel Drive into four lots. The Planning <br />Commission recommended approval of the preliminary <br />plat. <br />Michael Kettic, attorney representing Mrs. Mostad, <br />reported that they have reviewed the City Planner's <br />recommendations and would like some additional time to <br />remove the qarage and shed structures £rom proposed <br />Tract D. <br />Fahey pointed out the suggestion of the City Planner <br />that the applicant final plat each tract separately, <br />then the issue of the garage and shed removal would be <br />delayed until the time of final platting for Tract D. <br />Blesener suggested the option of final platting the <br />property at one time, but a time limit beinq <br />established for removal of the garage and shed. <br />Page 7 <br />
