MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 11, 1990 <br />Council noted the City Planner's recommendation in his <br />memo dated July llth that the Zoning Ordinance be <br />amended to specifically exclude recycling operations as <br />a permitted use. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-7-321 - INSTRUGTING THE CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR TO WORK WITH THE CITY PLANNER IN <br />PREPARATION OF A ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT WHICH WOULD <br />EXCLUDE RECYCLING OPERATIONS AS A PERMITTED USE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Scalze, Collova, Fahey, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />FIRE STATION/ The City Administrator reviewed the preliminary pre- <br />CITY CENTER construction schedule for the new Fire Station and <br />PROJECTS City Center expansion projects. At this point it is <br />anticipated that construction on both projects will <br />begin sometime between August 15th and September 1st. <br />The Administrator reported that he has just received <br />the completed City Center drawings, and that City staff <br />will be reviewing these drawings on Friday morning. <br />The building committee will review the drawings early <br />next week, and the Administrator suggested the need for <br />a Council workshop to review the drawings for both <br />projects. <br />The Administrator reported that the Fire Department <br />will be reviewing the Fire Station plans on Wednesday, <br />July 18th. <br />The Administrator reported that the plans have final <br />approval, bids will be advertised for. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-7-322 - TENTATIVELY SCHEDULING A <br />WORKSHOP MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THURSDAY, JULY <br />19TH, AT 5:30 P.M. TO REVIEW AND FINALIZE PLANS FOR THE <br />NEW FIRE STATION AND CITY CENTER EXPANSION PROJECTS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, Collova, LaValle, Blesener. <br />Nays (O).
