MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
AUGUST 8, 1990
Fahey suggested that Public Works review this
suggestion and make a recommendation to the Council.
The City Engineer stated that he would like a plan
submitted by Mr. Stanke showing the location he is
proposing to run the watermain from his building to the
road right-of-way. The Engineer also pointed out that
details for connecting to the existing 2-inch stub in
the street need to be resolved.
Stanke indicated that his watermain contractor
indicated that the City may want to abandon the 2-inch
connection.
The Engineer replied that those details have to be
worked out with Stanke's neighbor since the 2-inch
service was provided for that neighbor. The Engineer
suggested that the 2-inch service be addressed in the
Development Agreement. Again, the Engineer pointed out
the importance of submission of a plan by Stanke.
Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 90-8-670 - APPROVING A TEMPORARY
OCCUPANCY PERMIT FOR THE STANKE ADDITION, WITHHOLDING
TAE PERMIT UNTIL A SUITABLE PLAN~ APPROVED BY TAE CITY
ENGINEER, HAS BEEN SUBMITTED BY MR. These
involve changes in policy and procedures for responding
to calls relating to worthless documents and drive-offs
from gas stations.
Lt.
