MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 26, 1990 <br />ARCHITECT The City Administrator recommended tabling discussion <br />FEES of the request made by Boarman & Associates for a <br />contract fee adjustment pending additional information <br />from the architect. <br />SALE OF Mr. Blesener introduoed the followinq resolution and <br />DODGE TRUCK moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-9-446 - AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF THE <br />DODGE DUMP-TRUCK THROUGH QUOTATIONS AS REQUESTED BY THE <br />PUBLIC WORKS SUPERINTENDENT <br />The foregoinq resolution was duly seconded by Collova. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, Collova, Scalze, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />WARMING The Recreation Director recommended that the bids <br />HOU5E BIDS received for construction of a new warming house at the <br />Demont site be rejected since they exceed the budget <br />amount. The Director reported that the project will be <br />relooked at to see if its scope could be reduced or <br />other funding sources could be identified. The <br />Director reported that he plans to use the existing <br />warming house for the 1990/91 season. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-9-447 - REJECTING ALL BIDS RECEIVED <br />FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW WARMING HOUSE AT THE DEMONT <br />SITE SINCE ALL BIDS EXCEED THE PROJECT BUDGET AMOUNT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, LaValle, Collova, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Blesener asked if architect fees would be owed on the <br />project. <br />The Director thought that a portion of the fees would <br />be owed. <br />PIONEER PARK Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />CHANGE- moved its adoption: <br />ORDERS <br />RESOLUTION N0. 90-9-448 - TABLING ACTION ON THE PIONEER <br />PARK CHANGE-ORDERS PENDING FURTHER INVESTIGATION AS <br />RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />Page 33 <br />
