MINUTES CITY COUNCIL SEPTEMBER 26, 1990 ARCHITECT The City Administrator recommended tabling discussion FEES of the request made by Boarman & Associates for a contract fee adjustment pending additional information from the architect. SALE OF Mr. Blesener introduoed the followinq resolution and DODGE TRUCK moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-9-446 - AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF THE DODGE DUMP-TRUCK THROUGH QUOTATIONS AS REQUESTED BY THE PUBLIC WORKS SUPERINTENDENT The foregoinq resolution was duly seconded by Collova. Ayes (4) Blesener, Collova, Scalze, LaValle. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. WARMING The Recreation Director recommended that the bids HOU5E BIDS received for construction of a new warming house at the Demont site be rejected since they exceed the budget amount. The Director reported that the project will be relooked at to see if its scope could be reduced or other funding sources could be identified. The Director reported that he plans to use the existing warming house for the 1990/91 season. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-9-447 - REJECTING ALL BIDS RECEIVED FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW WARMING HOUSE AT THE DEMONT SITE SINCE ALL BIDS EXCEED THE PROJECT BUDGET AMOUNT The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (4) Blesener, LaValle, Collova, Scalze. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. Blesener asked if architect fees would be owed on the project. The Director thought that a portion of the fees would be owed. PIONEER PARK Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and CHANGE- moved its adoption: ORDERS RESOLUTION N0. 90-9-448 - TABLING ACTION ON THE PIONEER PARK CHANGE-ORDERS PENDING FURTHER INVESTIGATION AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR Page 33
