MINUTES CITY COUNCIL SEPTEMBER 26, 1990 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (4) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Collova. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. The City Administrator reported that payment is due the contractor for a portion of the project. This payment would not include any change-order items. Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-9-449 - AUTAORIZING PAYMENT TO BE CONSTRUCTION IN THE AMOUNT OF $51,933.03 FOR THAT PORTION OF THE PIONEER PROJECT DUE AT THIS TIME BASED ON THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR The fbregoing resolution was duly seconded by Collova. Ayes (4) Scalze, Collova, Blesener, LaValle. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. OWNER'S REP The City Administrator reviewed his report dated ON CITY September 26, 1990 regarding the need for an owner's PROJECTS representative on the Fire Station and City Center projects so that the projects are not delayed for Council approval of minor change-orders. The architect has suggested that the owner's representative have authorization up to $5,000. The City Administrator recommended that he be appointed as owner's rep, and assured the Council that he would involve them in the decision process for items that are not clear-cut. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-9-450 - APPOINTING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR AS THE CITY'S OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE FIRE STATION AND CITY CENTER EXPANSION PROJECT5 WITH AUTHORITY UP TO $5,000 FOR CHANGE-ORDERS BASED ON THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR AS CONTAINED IN HIS MEMO DATED SEPTEMBER 26, 1990 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze.
