MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 26, 1990 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Collova. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />The City Administrator reported that payment is due the <br />contractor for a portion of the project. This payment <br />would not include any change-order items. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-9-449 - AUTAORIZING PAYMENT TO BE <br />CONSTRUCTION IN THE AMOUNT OF $51,933.03 FOR THAT <br />PORTION OF THE PIONEER PROJECT DUE AT THIS TIME BASED <br />ON THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />The fbregoing resolution was duly seconded by Collova. <br />Ayes (4) Scalze, Collova, Blesener, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />OWNER'S REP The City Administrator reviewed his report dated <br />ON CITY September 26, 1990 regarding the need for an owner's <br />PROJECTS representative on the Fire Station and City Center <br />projects so that the projects are not delayed for <br />Council approval of minor change-orders. The architect <br />has suggested that the owner's representative have <br />authorization up to $5,000. The City Administrator <br />recommended that he be appointed as owner's rep, and <br />assured the Council that he would involve them in the <br />decision process for items that are not clear-cut. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-9-450 - APPOINTING THE CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR AS THE CITY'S OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE FOR <br />THE FIRE STATION AND CITY CENTER EXPANSION PROJECT5 <br />WITH AUTHORITY UP TO $5,000 FOR CHANGE-ORDERS BASED ON <br />THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR AS <br />CONTAINED IN HIS MEMO DATED SEPTEMBER 26, 1990 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, Scalze, Collova, LaValle. , <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Page 34 <br />
