MINUTES CITY COUNCIL OCTOBER 10, 1990 Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoptione RESOLUTION NO. 90-10-465 - APPROVING TAE CITY'S PARTICIPATION IN THE RAMSEY COUNTY MAINTENANCE IMPROVEMENT FOR COUNTY DITCH 7B ON COUNTY ROAD D AT A COST OF $1,200.00 AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY ENGINEER The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. Ayes (5) Blesener, Fahey, LaValle, Scalze, Collova. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. The second project is for the placement of a catch basin in a low area in front of 2560 Edgerton. The Engineer indicated that the City does not benefit directly by this improvement, therefore, recommends against the City participating in the project. Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: ° RESOLUTION NO. 90-10-466 - DECLINING TO PARTICIPATE IN THE COUNTY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT FOR INSTALLATION OF A CATCH BASIN IN FRONT OF 2560 EDGERTON SINCE THERE IS NO DIRECT BENEFIT TO THE CITY The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Fahey, LaValle, Blesener, Collova, Scalze. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. FIRE STATION The City Administrator reviewed the bids received for BIDS eleotrical work at the new Fire Station project. The low bid was from Preferred Electric in the amount of $62,914.00. Mr. Collova introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-10-467 - ACCEPTING AND AWARDING THE LOW BID OF PREFERRED ELECTRIC IN THE AMOUNT OF $62,914.00 FOR ELECTRICAL WORK AT THE FIRE STATION PROJECT SUBJECT TO FINAL REVIEW AND DETERMINATION BY THE CONSTRUCTION MANAGER THAT THE BID IS LOW AND SUBJECT TO REMOVAL OF THE INDEMNIFICATION CLAU5E FOR HAZARDOUS MATERIALS FROM THE CONTRACT The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle.
